One could say that she is the stereotypical accounting personality: quiet and absorbed by details - only quiet if the money takes care of itself. Before taking over the responsibility for our financial information, her experience was mostly in cost accounting and computer programming but we caused her a whole new set of headaches.
After work and on weekends you can find her reading, cooking, and reading & watching TV about cooking. "I don’t cook as much in the summer months, because my husband does a lot of grilling, so I get to weed the garden!"
Her family: "my husband, my fifteen year-old daughter, Katie and our Lab mix, Toby. Somehow we seem to make a lot of noise for such a small group". She tries hard to be a role model for her teenage daughter, constantly reminding herself that she is the example and that keeps her in line whenever she gets to "out of control" - which happens often here at the office (not!)
