  • Any marketing campaign or audience hit only once is NOT effective - You have to find the right frequency, and analytics will help find this by each individual product and/or industry segment.
  • Constantly seek feedback from your customers and prospects - Social media is a good way to accomplish this
  • Budget appropriately - Spend enough to be effective but never more than you are comfortable with.
  • Maximize client value - The first sale from a client is the most expensive - once they have bought find ways to sell them more.
  • The 60/30/10 spending guideline
  • Getting past 'No' and getting to 'Yes' - Everybody fears change and will say no without thinking - you have to get them to yes
  • Determine and then focus on your top 20 percent
  • Track all of your sales costs
  • Develop and understand your differentiators - This is what separates you from your competition.
  • Change creative with copy more often - We live in a visual society now, images drive everything. You need to change more often to get the brain to say, "That's new."
  • Interactive mediums are the way to go! - They're more measureable, you can get more for you money, and there are more things you can do with it.
